Our specially trained senior care team will work with you and your family to design a personalized care plan to assist with the activities of daily living – whatever you need, it’s always your choice – including bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, and more.
As a Life Plan Community, we make aging in place simple. Residents who have entered Burcham Hills under the Life Plan program have priority access to higher levels of healthcare services and are able to seamlessly transition to assisted living whenever necessary.
We also accept admissions from the East Lansing community at whatever type of care level you or your loved one needs, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing care, outpatient therapy and rehab and short-term rehabilitation.

Assisted living is for older adults who require some assistance with activities of daily living but do not require extensive medical care.
Assisted living allows you to stay active and engaged while continuing to pursue your hobbies and passions. In addition, you will receive support from a caring team when you need help with activities of daily living, like grooming, medication management, dressing and bathing. When more support is needed with chronic medical conditions or around-the-clock medical care and supervision are required, a nursing home can help. In this environment, care is provided by licensed skilled nursing professionals.
While the answer can vary, many families pay for the costs of an assisted living community with long-term care insurance, life insurance, and/or Veterans benefits. They may also sell their home or use reverse mortgages, annuities or bridge loans.
