What is Respite Care?

A respite stay is any stay at least 7 days and no more than 30 days.
Respite stays include the temporary use of Burcham Hills Retirement Community’s furniture as well as cable, upgraded phone service (unlimited local & 300 minutes long distance), UL approved waste containers, medical care and assistance (24 hour nursing staff), meals, snacks, personal flat linens laundered weekly, medication assistance, housekeeping, companionship, recreational activities, fun and so much more!

Respite Care at Burcham Hills includes:

• Three (3) meals per day
• Personal linens laundered weekly

• Assistance with grooming needs
• Bathing assistance twice per week
