Outpatient Wellness and Rehabilitation
Wellness Services
• Membership—Monthly membership includes the use of all wellness resistive and
cardiovascular equipment, and orientation to our Wellness Center - $15.00 monthly.
• Fitness Assessment—Assessment of strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, identification of fitness goals and development of a fitness plan by a personal trainer - $50.00.
• Personal Training—One-on-one training with a personal trainer for the progression of your fitness program - $50.00/hour.
• Massage Therapy—Performed by credential massage therapist. Your massage can be full body or concentrated on a specific area. Massage table and massage chair are available.
• Paraffin Dip—Heated hand treatment with hand massage - $10.00
• Spa Package—warm paraffin hand dip, with a soothing, scented footbath, moist hot pack followed by a gentle massage to relax your neck and shoulders. - $30.00
• FIT—assisted maintenance exercise program for individuals who require help to enter and exit equipment, monitor performance or adjust weight machines - $8.75/15 minutes
Rehabilitation Services
Available to those in need of Physical, Occupational and/or Speech Therapy services as prescribed by a physician. Please consult with our department for questions regarding insurance coverage for services provided by our commmunity. Conditions that may indicate a need for therapy treatment include:
• General weakness
• Joint pain
• Shortness of breath during activities
• Decreased range of motion of joints
• Difficulty with coordination
• History of falls
• Difficulty with completion of daily living tasks
• Difficulty walking
• Poor activity endurance
Specialty Programs
• Continence Improvement—Treatment of bladder incontinence through a combination of interventions that may include therapeutic exercise, education, bladder training, NeoControl Pelvic Floor Therapy System by extracorporeal magnetic Innervation, Biofeedback and electrical stimulation. A Physical Therapist certified in incontinence treatment will provide services.
• Low Vision Treatment—Assessment of visual skills, training in compensatory techniques, training in adaptive optical devices and assessment of daily living skill performance and safety. Services provided by an Occupational Therapist with specialized training.
• Swallowing Improvement—Treatment of swallowing disorders through a combination of treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, deep pharyngeal neurological stimulation, Vital Stim electrical stimulation and adaptive techniques. Services provided by a Speech Language Pathologist with specialized training.
• Memory Enhancement—Treatment for the development of individual memory improvement techniques, orientation and awareness of surroundings and visual memory devices. Treatment provided by a Speech Language Pathologist with specialized training.
